Our Teachers: The school recruits qualified competent and experienced Teachers. They also undergo regular training in every area of the school to maintain the high standard of the school. The teachers follow the “Positive Discipline” approach when handling children which is being kind and yet firm.
Specialist teachers work in the Library, IT, and co- curricular activities like Sports, Taekwondo, Ballet and Swimming.

PI – PIII: 8.00am – 3.00pm
PIV – PVI: 8.00am – 4.00 pm
PVI /PVII: 8.00am – 4.30 pm
Facilities: The school has modern adequate and well equipped facilities for all subjects and school activities. The classrooms are tastefully decorated with all the amenities to suit the Primary learning. An Audio Visual room, Computer and IT room, a well stocked Library, a Sick Bay, and a Game Area. We also have clean separate washrooms for Girls and Boys. We have installed Close Circuit TV in all areas of the school to ensure security.
The children of The Hungry Caterpillar School are GEMS. The school has Four Houses developing a competitive spirit among the children to become achievers in all activities. We also believe the children will reflect the qualities of the gems as in
- Topaz, being the yellow, house will stimulate the children to reflect sunshine.
- Ruby, being the red house, aims at producing dynamic and stable achievers
- Emerald, the green house, aims at developing kind and compassionate winners
- Saphire, the blue house, aims at reflecting amazing wisdom and honest achievers.
These houses blend to become The Hungry Caterpillar School, a Treasure house of precious gems.

Primary School Uniform
The children are expected to follow the school policy with regard to the uniform.
The payment, order and the delivery can be done at the school office.

Payment Terms And Conditions:
- Tuition fee is inclusive of Tuition, Diaries , Lunches , Exam and Stationery fee and all Extra curricular activities.
- The fee for all the classes is to be paid within the 7 days at the Beginning of the term.
- A chargeable fee for UGX bounced cheques will be charged Ugx 50,000/-
- Late Payments: There will be surcharge of 5% per week.
- There can be no reduction for personal holiday absences.
- All fees once paid is non -refundable.
- All school fees is payable to the bank.
- All payments for books, uniform, trips to be paid only to the School’s account section and not to the class teachers.
- Payment of UGX 30,000/- will be charged for the brochure, application form and the other important documents.
Discounts:
- There will be a discount of 5% on Tuition fee if the fees for the full year is paid before the start of the academic year.
- Siblings: There will be 50% discount on admission fees for siblings.
